Information Security Engineers (f/m/d)
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement information security based on regular risk assessments, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities
- Define, develop, and enforce security policies and procedures
- Partner with teams to develop and implement risk informed practices to address vulnerability assessments and mitigate potential weaknesses in systems
- Work with managed service provider to ensure information security practices are in place to identify, respond to, and resolve security incidents
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including breaches, intrusions, and malware infections
- Lead actions to educate and inform colleagues and stakeholders about the latest security threats and best practices
- Partner with service delivery teams to ensure security measures are integrated into the development of new services, systems, and applications
- Use continuous improvement processes and measures based on lessons learned and feedback to enhance information security
Your Qualifications:
- University degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field or an equivalent qualification
- Profound experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in using security tools, technologies and techniques for vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, and incident response
- Understanding of security principles in on-prem and cloud environments as well as in mobile platforms
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and other security-related technologies
- Relevant certifications (like CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security, etc.) are beneficial
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication capacity and team-centric behavior
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
