To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit an

 

IT Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/d)

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop comprehensive, scalable and resilient infrastructure plans that include hardware, software, network, and security components
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance and optimize the IT infrastructure
  • Provide recommendations on technology adoption, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with business units and IT teams to understand their requirements and translate them into solutions
  • Incorporate security best practices into infrastructure designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Lead and participate in infrastructure-related projects, ensuring successful and timely completion
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and mentorship to junior members of the team
  • Actively participate in the service request, incident handling, and other operational IT processes to ensure high quality support for the company, including the on-call rotation

 

Your Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in information technology, computer science, a related field or an equivalent qualification
  • Proven track record supporting enterprise grade IT systems with several years of experience
  • Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design, security protocols, and IT management tools
  • Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Fluency in English, German skills are a plus
