Engineer (f/m/d) Analytical Development - Biophysical Chemistry

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Independent development and optimization of analytical methods in the field of Plasmid DNA, mRNA and Lipid Nanoparticles
  • Work in a team to support establishing innovative methods in chemistry and biochemistry with focus on hands-on work in the lab
  • Support analytical method characterization and transfer in quality control department
  • Support the activities of other departments by performing routine and service analytics
  • Data analysis and documentation
  • Preparation of SOPs, reports, and presentations
  • Assisting laboratory organization (i.e., device maintenance, ordering and other administrative tasks)

 

Your Qualification

 

  • Master's Degree in biological/chemical sciences or equivalent
  • Experience in biochemical and chemical methods (e.g.  CGE, spectroscopy, DLS and      electrophoretic methods)
  • Sound knowledge of HPLC-based methods (IP-RP, AEX, SEC) in the field of nucleic acids (mRNA, plasmid DNA) and lipids
  • Demonstrate independent and reliable laboratory work
  • Knowledge in statistical data analysis is of advantage
  • Excellent team spirit, communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
