Business Analyst (f/m/d)

CureVac SE is a global biopharmaceutical company researching and developing novel drugs based on the natural molecule Messenger RNA (mRNA). Our focus is on prophylactic vaccines, innovative cancer immunotherapies and protein-based therapies. Currently, all RNA people are striving to achieve our main goal: To bring multiple best-in-class mRNA drugs to market.

The Business & Commercial Operations (B&CO) team supports the Chief Business & Commercial Officer, and the rest of the Executive Board, in supporting and advising on major business decisions, mainly related to corporate strategy and execution, incl. corporate development. This also encompasses therapeutic areas strategy and M&A-type activities, leading cross-functional teams as appropriate. The B&CO team is currently composed of a Vice President & a Director, and is looking to further expand.

Business Analyst (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Support key business and commercial projects as well as strategic initiatives across the different therapeutic areas
• Provide content and analysis to support strategy development, negotiations and M&A / corporate development projects
• Support the development of market research reports, strategy material and the preparation of external meetings and presentations
• Generate momentum and drive projects on a day-to-day basis, incl: for cross-functional initiatives and board-initiated projects

Your qualifications:

• Masters degree in Sciences, Biotechnology or Management; MBA preferred
• Business experience in pharma/ biotech industry mandatory, ideally in a management/strategy consulting and/or multinational environment
• Functional knowledge and hands-on experience in strategy development & execution, business development, M&A and project management
• Highly analytical thinking, problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated effective participation in a multidisciplinary team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organization and at international level
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
