CureVac SE is a global biopharmaceutical company researching and developing novel drugs based on the natural molecule Messenger RNA (mRNA). Our focus is on prophylactic vaccines, innovative cancer immunotherapies and protein-based therapies. To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart or in Amsterdam (NL) we are currently looking to recruit an

 

Associate Project Manager Oncology R&D (f/m/d)

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the Oncology R&D organization in delivering and executing innovative projects leading to novel RNA-based medicines for cancer patients, including therapeutic cancer vaccines and other RNA-based cancer therapeutics

  • Manage small to medium sized projects and work streams

  • Ensure operational support for the Oncology R&D organization and program/project teams

  • Deliver and maintain high quality program & project documentation including detailed project plans and presentations

  • Ensure follow-up on cost and action items to support achievement of program/project milestones

  • Ensure consolidation of project-specific information from various line functions within the organization

  • Integration of processes & tools into the project team that are in line with project management standards

 

 

Your Qualifications:

 

  • A Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Engineering or a comparable qualification

  • Professional experience in project management of complex projects in the biotechnology/pharmacy environment or management of a scientific collaboration project

  • International working experience is a plus

  • Enthusiasm for operational excellence

  • A high degree of reliability in completing tasks autonomously and meeting individual targets

  • Strong communication skills, ability to cooperate and work in a team, a hands-on mentality

  • Fluent language skills in English, any additional language skills are welcome
