To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a

(Senior) Director (f/m/d) Portfolio Management Office / PMO

Your Responsibilities:

• Define state-of-the-art business and portfolio management processes
• Lead the roll-out throughout divisions and corporate functions
• Coordinate corporate portfolio management cycles in alignment with the annual business cycle
• Ensure consistency in business & portfolio management processes across all levels of the organization (corporate, functions and divisions)
• Lead continuous improvement of CureVac’s business and portfolio management processes applying state-of-art methodologies
• Set-up and roll-out of regular trainings  in tools and processes for operational project teams to secure efficient project & program execution
• Lead the monitoring of the Tier 1 corporate project & programs
• Ensure the adequate resource allocation across the entire project & program portfolio as per portfolio prioritization
• Prepare portfolio reports, dashboards and presentations for extended Management Board and Supervisory Board presentations
• Define, steer and ensure the portfolio communication and cascade across the required levels of the organization

Your Qualifications:

• University degree in science / medicine, business administration or equivalent, ideally with Doctorate/PhD, MBA or further academic qualification 
• Several years of proven track record in Pharma / Biotech / Healthcare with a broad focus on Portfolio/Project management, Industrial/Franchise Product Lead, CMC/drug development and/or product launch across different therapeutic areas, ideally across different geographies 
• Sound experience in Project/Program Management Office, project controlling and reporting, resource management and risk management in an agile and rapidly evolving environment
• PMI certification will be a major asset
• Broad expertise in leading complex programs in the Pharma / Biotech / Healthcare industry (drug development, launch and corporate investments)
• Proven track record in team leadership and development of complex teams of different maturity status 
• Motivating leadership behavior in challenging status quo and driving transformation/leading by influence 
• Strong business acumen and performance-orientation combined with a strong hands-on approach
• Excellent communication skills on different management levels
• Profound IT skills (MS Office, project-planning/MS-project, Power BI, databases, SAP), risk management tools 
• Business-fluent in both English and German
