Scientist (f/m/d) Production Process Automation

To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a

 

Scientist (f/m/d) Production Process Automation 


 

 

Your responsibilities:  

 

  • Development, optimization and execution of biotechnological processes  
  • Initiate, optimize and transfer of nucleic acids manufacturing and purification processes 
  • Planning, executing and reporting development and optimization experiments 
  • Writing reports and presenting results within team and to broader scientific groups 
  • Preparation of work instructions (SOPs) as well as implementation of employee training 
  • Takeover of general laboratory tasks and laboratory organization, including device responsibility
  • Participation in multidisciplinary project teams 


Your qualifications:  

 

  • PhD in (bio)chemistry, biology, pharmacy, biotechnology, or a comparable qualification 
  • Postdoc experience or first professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a benefit 
  • Profound knowledge of DNA, RNA, and nucleic acids 
  • Deep comprehension of molecular biological methods
  • Practical experience in establishing and optimizing high-throughput screening is desirable 
  • Knowledge of statistical experimental design and data analysis (DoE) is a plus 
  • Basic knowledge of liquid handling / laboratory automation desirable 
  • Proactive, structured, positive, and independent way of working 
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation 
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus
