(Senior) Technician Immunology (f/m/d)

CureVac Netherlands B.V. is looking for an enthusiastic (Senior) Technician Immunology (f/m/d) with experience in immunological research who would like to join a newly established, highly innovative and inspiring Antigen Discovery and Validation Center located in vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Amsterdam. 
Our next (Senior) Technician Immunology (f/m/d) will be a part of the cross-functional antigen validation team of the Antigen Discovery and Validation Center of CureVac NL. 
 

Your responsibilities:
 
•    Preparation and execution of in vitro immunological assays related to validation of antigens for clinical development of mRNA cancer vaccines 
•    Analysis and recording of the data in an organized and structured manner for documentation in electronic lab journal  
•    Developing and optimizing new assays for selection and validation of tumor neoantigens 
•    Technical and practical maintenance and supervision of cutting-edge and brand-new laboratory equipment 
•    Contribution to further development of the Human Immunology lab both intellectually and technically
 
 
Your qualifications:

 
•    HBO or MSc education, preferentially with focus on Immuno-oncology 
•    Hands on experience with (multicolor) flow cytometry, primary cell isolation and culturing, and/or ELISA/ELISpot
•    Proactive, structured, and organized way of working
•    Ability to work as a part of a bigger team to achieve a common goal 
•    Flexibility in changing the focus on different parallel projects based on priorities 
•    Motivation to learn 
•    Excellent communication skills and fluent in spoken and written English (Dutch is not necessary)
 

CureVac Netherlands B.V. is part of CureVac SE: a global biopharmaceutical company researching and developing novel drugs based on the natural molecule Messenger RNA (mRNA) with the main goal to bring multiple best-in-class mRNA drugs to market. As Antigen Discovery and Validation Center, CureVac Netherlands focuses on developing innovative cancer immunotherapies. We will focus on the design and clinical validation of a first off-the-shelf vaccine targeting a number of shared cancer antigens. In parallel, the antigen discovery technology will be improved and expanded with the goal to develop a platform that enables the detection of all possible antigens expressed by cancer cells. Such platform will form the basis for off-the-shelf and personalized vaccine design for many different cancer types.
