CureVac Real Estate GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of CureVac AG, is a biopharmaceutical company producing novel drugs based on the natural molecule Messenger RNA (mRNA). Our focus is on innovative cancer immunotherapies, prophylactic vaccines and molecular therapies. Currently, about 200 RNA people are striving to achieve our main goal: To bring multiple best-in-class mRNA drugs to market.

Key Account Manager – External Manufacturing (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage all activities related to Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) as follows: Commercial Manufacturing (Drug Substance, Drug Product, fill & finish), Quality Control for stability, In-Process & Release testing, and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure production activities are performed in compliance with the GMP standards and EU regulations
  • Ensure strong collaboration with the SCM team to ensure capacity alignment with the financial budget
  • Ensure an uninterrupted supply of commercial product(s) to the market
  • Support and coordinate the implementation of harmonized governance structures across vendor accounts, organize governance meetings and follow up with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and contribute to contract establishment and vendor selection procedures in collaboration with procurement
  • Establish and execute operational excellence and lean approaches to drive continuous efficiency gains in supplier interactions
  • Develop Key Account Service Plan, strengthen current service position, identify and implement service growth opportunities
  • Analyze and understand accounts' business strategy, future product plans and expansion activities

Your qualifications:

  • Diploma or similar business field-relevant degree
  • Extensive industry experience in pharmaceutical as Key Account Manager
  • Commercial manufacturing experience
  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to translate strategy into operational execution
  • Strong coordination skills, working in matrix organization
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluency in German and English
