Engineer (f/m/d)- Analytical Development

CureVac Manufacturing GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of CureVac SE, is a biopharmaceutical company producing novel drugs based on the natural molecule Messenger RNA (mRNA). Our focus is on innovative cancer immunotherapies, prophylactic vaccines and molecular therapies. Currently, all RNA people are striving to achieve our main goal: To bring multiple best-in-class mRNA drugs to market.

 

To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit an

 

Engineer (f/m/d)- Analytical Development

 

 

Your responsibilities:

 

 

  • Independent development and optimization of bioanalytical assays with strong hands-on work in the lab
  • Work in a team to support establishing innovative methods in chemistry and biochemistry
  • Data analysis and documentation of experimental results (in electronic form and on paper)
  • Transfer of methods to quality control department
  • Assisting with laboratory organization (i.e., device maintenance, order and other administrative tasks)
  • Preparation of SOPs, reports and presentations

 


Your qualifications:

 

  •     Completed university degree in the biological/chemical sciences or related field
  •     Experience in biochemical and chemical methods (e.g., HPLC, spectroscopy, MS, DLS and electrophoretic methods)
  •     Sound knowledge in different chromatographic methods such as AEX, RP and/or SEC
  •     Knowledge in statistical data analysis and experimental design (DoE) is of advantage
  •     Initial experience in method validation is a benefit
  •     Independent and reliable lab work and excellent team spirit
  •     Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  •     Fluency in English; German is a plus
