The CureVac RNA Printer GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of CureVac, for the development of The RNA Printer®, a product-solution for integrated and highly automated production of GMP-grade RNA vaccines and therapeutics, enabling broad access to mRNA technology using a highly automated production platform.
The RNA Printer® is designed to accelerate the transition of innovative product concepts from academia to the clinic in a variety of therapeutic areas. The RNA Printer's high level of automation enables a fast, robust, flexible, and cost-effective solution for mRNA production.

 

To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a

 

Associate Director (w/m/d) Development & Technology Innovation RNA Printer

 

 

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the RNA Printer technical development group
  • Early Product Development
  • Evaluation of new DNA and RNA production technologies
  • Optimization and development of manufacturing processes
  • Development of process analytical technologies (PAT)
  • Define CPPs for new processes, contribute to control strategy 
  • Development of Quality-by-design strategy


Your Qualifications:

 

  • Completed university studies in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or a comparable qualification
  • High expertise for biotechnical manufacturing, bioprocessing, molecular biology, biochemistry
  • Excellence in analysis of biomolecules 
  • More than 5 years professional expertise in relevant fields
  • Strong team leader with effective communication skills
  • Know how of GMP compliance and requirements
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
