To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a

Senior Manager SOX (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Present to and discuss with C-Level and oversight committees
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls regarding financial and non-financial reporting for the CureVac Group.
• Manage stakeholders incl. internal and external audit as well as ensure regular report to ICS organization
• Drive optimization and implementation of internal business controls on process and company level (SOX 404 and 302 compliance), including process documentation
• Close cooperation and training of process and control owners in methodology and documentation of internal controls
• Manage efficient walkthroughs, testing of design and operational effectiveness, action tracking and implementation
• Conduct scoping and risk assessments utilizing a risk-based methodology
• Proactively support business areas to prioritize or resolve cross-functional issues

Your qualifications:

• Completed university studies with a focus on business / IT / finance or a comparable qualification.
• 6+ years of experience in the governance and audit environment of an auditing or consulting firm
• Applied and extensive knowledge in the field of internal audit or ICS, ideally with a focus on financial reporting, risk management or IT compliance
• Expert knowledge and experience in the area of ICFR / SOX 404
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA would be an advantage
• Certifications as CIA or similar qualification would be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Structured, goal-oriented and proactive way of working in a dynamic environment
• High level of commitment as well as distinct ability to work in a team
• Fluent in English with basic German language skills
