Engineer (f/m/d) Downstream Processing - RNA Printer®

Your responsibilities:

  • Independently plan and execute development, optimization and implementation of UFDF (UltraFiltration/DiaFiltration Processes) Processes in the RNA Printer®
  • Support and transfer of documentation, testing and documents e.g. URSs (User Requirement Specifications) and Development Reports
  • Contribute to the general operation of the laboratory including, but not limited to the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, ordering of supplies
  • Analyze and summarize results from experiments
  • Communicate findings in the form of presentations and reports to the project team
  • Workstream communication with external project partners and suppliers

Your qualifications:

  • Master degree in (technical) biology, biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, chemistry, biochemistry or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in Cross Flow Filtration is mandatory, experience in HPLC (High performance Liquid Chromatography) is advantageous
  • Knowledge of biochemical and molecular biological methods preferential with experience in nucleic acids
  • Knowledge in the regulated environment and in laboratory documentation according to GMP is an advantage
  • Structured, reliable, motivated and independent way of working
  • Experienced handling of MS Office
  • Open-mindedness as well as a focused and efficient approach to working
  • Ability to set priorities in case of high workloads
  • Flexible and proactive attitude towards changing needs
  • Excellent team spirit and communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
